Hey there!

I am Sophie Langhorst,

a designer from Berlin.

I have an analytical approach to designing things, be it 2- or 3-dimensional, a concept or a space.

In my design process I work with structures, grids and systematics and the deliberate break with them – playing with expectations and exploring the tensions between complexity and simplicity, safety and surprise, control and uncertainty.

Having a background in psychology I am interested in how information and aesthetics are coming together in different types of design and are able to affect people.

Loving to explore different design fields and techniques I’m always looking for opportunities to learn and work on something new.
